Hot alternating
The valve or flange in the thermal pipes is not well insulated. it may cause leakage due to uneven expansion and contraction during overtimes opening and closing. In the winter the alpine region, once the uninsulated valve is closed, the valve freezes much faster than the valve with good insulation If the interval between closing and opening is shorter, the valve with good insulation is always hot. In the case of closing and opening, the poorly insulated or uninsulated valve may be closed at a high temperature and opened at a low temperature. The high temperature heat exchange causes the valve parts that are in contact with or close to the medium to be subjected to alternating stress, which aggravates the fatigue aging of the valve parts and shortens the service life ratio of the valve. At the same time, the valve lose its sealing effect.
